What kinda car should I get now?
#1
Well, the car is being repaired, and i'll be driving it for a month or two while we move....we have too much crap going on to deal with buying a new car. So I was wondering what kinda car you guys think I should get. I'm looking in the 25k range with a warranty...a car no older than a 2001. Thanks TAKE THE POLL!
Now take into account this car will not be modded *boosted car would recieve BOV and turbo timer* and I will be driving this car for the next 4-5 years of my life...so take looks, longevity of the car, and all that crap into account.

Dude, 25k does not buy you half the cars in the list (new). The RX8 hasn't been out long enough for you to get one for less than 26k (I may be wrong).
Besides, those choices seem pretty wide (each of those cars are sooooo different)... maybe you should narrow it down to two...

Acura RSX Type S
Honda/Acura Quality. Great transmission, gears shift very nicely, has back seat (albeit small), has good trunk room, great college car (meaning too many peeps should not fuk with it in a parking lot), still a sporty ride.
I would say forget the 325, the Jetta & the Protege. Plus I think they are releasing a car called the Mazda 3 that may replace the Protege (could be wrong). 325 has a weak engine, Jetta's are female cars (no offense meant to any male that owns a Jetta )

I would like the RX-8 as a second car but not as a replacement for my S2000. But then again if I had that kind of money to spend I would rather have another S2000 but with with hardtop and all season tires as a second car. Sorry, I am no help. I like the S2000 too much. Out of the cars that you listed I like the RX-8 and the Evo the best. My mom has an 01 Jetta and it is to drive. I have never driven a 325, RSX, or protege but they just seem boring also.

Well they are all differant cars but it depends a lot on what you are looking for in this new car. Handling wise I think the RX-8 would be the best in that category. Power wise the Evo wins. All around handling and power I would go with the Evo. Ok so Im a little biased now. You should test drive the cars you are considering and then you will better be able to make that decision.

Thats the main problem, usually I have no problem test driving pretty much any car. That is mainly due to the fact that they see me hopping out of an S2000....now that I wont have it for a bit, they just kinda give me the run around... but once i get my car back I think one day I'm gonna go and and see whats going on.
