I'm glad every had a good time and kept the shiny side up Steven said quite a few Ss were there on Saturday. Unfortunately, I was the only S on Sunday. But the couple with the black WRX were there again and I brought a TT and STi with me. So, we pretty much had the track all to ourselves. I had a blast, esp. since that was my first time on CMP

Steven and John wanted to thank everyone that was able to make it out. They will definitely try to do an event like that more often. Evidently, this was a new thing for the SCCA in the SE. I'll try to keep everyone informed if another event pops up.

We caught the beginning of the Spec Miata race because Steven was promising us a pile-up in the Turn 1. That didn't happen, thankfully.......or not

Oh, Ron and Sheila, Steven wanted me to remind you about a sailboat in Charleston or something like that.

Thanks for sharing the pics, got any more? It can be tricky at times to take photos at CMP, especially when the Sun is not being too friendly. If I was not at Euro Fest, I might have come out to meet some of y'all. Here are some events I have gone to at CMP.

Note: The whole PBase site has been slow lately, not sure why.

This is the favorite of my CMP shots:

Especially when you only have a snapshot camera. I hate the shutter delays in that thing for action shots.

youre crazy man. i wouldnt even stand on the windshield frame. the factory loops are ok if youre 5'8 or so. be sure to disable the airbag when youre on the track just in case of rollover so you can at least duck into the car and not have your neck squished. thats just my 2 cents

as for the track day...maybe next time. i have a super new mod to show off

This thread is a good example of the roll bars holding up much better than the windshield frame.

Warning, they're pretty gruesome S pics. Poor S.
