Where are you located Ian? I plan on hitting autox harder than ever this year now that my car is finally decently STR prepped. I'm always down for competitive company!

 

im in raleigh man, id love to get together with some people for autoX, never done it before but seeing as i own an s2000 its something i MUST do haha

 

Ian, I'm in Durham. I Autocross regularly with the Tarheel Sports Car Club (thscc.com). I think our first event is March 18th in Danville, VA.

The Triad Sports Car Club is also hosting an Evolution School (Phase 1) on April 1st that I plan on attending.

I'm a little south of you guys in Charlotte, race with CCR. Danville is a bit of a drive for me but I have heard good things about the site from fellow autox'ers. I would say the evo school with Triad is a good start for you Ian.

i just installed kwv3s and OMG huge difference in driving!! i was on freshish oe suspension (60kish) and man is there a difference. i also have a saner front bar and trm c3 17x9 with 255 square rs3's. ran all of last year with NCR completely underpreped for STR (only had tires on narrower wheels). haven't autoxed it since install(is kinda the winter season) but i know that it'll be a marked improvement. im sure you guys are far away but we have a HUGE AWESOME sight that we ran 3 times last year and hope to get another three this year is on the flightline at cherry point mcas. huge space, nice pavement and usually a FAST FAST course. look into coming over and running with us!!
