So I just found out that VIR is having a big race event this weekend. I scored 2 free weekend passes. Just wondering if anyone else is going to be out there?

Dang I didn't know you guys followed the Rolex Series! Heck yeah I'll be there this weekend. I've got hot passes that allow access to the SunTrust Racing team pit. This weekend is gunna rock! Then it's back to reality when I get back to school. Finals suck!

So when are you planning on going up? I'm leaving Columbia tomorrow morning at 9:00am. That should put me at VIR by around 1:30pm to 2:00pm. Maybe you would be interested in a "spirited run" around the backroads of NC and VA. I have a house on Hyco Lake about 5 minutes from the track, so I know a few backroad twisties.

Ill be going up there on Saturday, as far as spirited runs... I can honestly say I doubt Ill be in the S2000 going up there unfortunately. I got some seriously bald tires that would make cornering hazardous. But hey, Im up to meet up still though!

So VIR turned out to be a fun weekend... Tons of pictures that i still have to edit... Those rx8's are pretty quick. I didn't really care too much for the G6's though..

SunTrust won on Sunday, so i got to spend some time in Victory Lane.

It was nice to see Dolemike and Saki GT there. Maybe next year we can make the VIR 400 a meet event?
