GRRRRR! heres the story. a man in a government owned astrovan was in the fast lane, and i was in the slow lane. a car in front of the astrovan decided to turn so the lazy astrovan driver wanted to maintain speed and swap lanes, unfortunately he sideswiped me and messed up my car. the rim and bumper on drivers side both have burn marks on them, the fender is totaled. it looks horrible! i have owned this car for 1 week and this happens. GRRR. so i call up his insurance person,(he works for public health department and was on the job), and explain the situation. i took it to honda to have an estimate done and they will buff the bumper and rim and replace the fender, and paint half the car to match it! THIS CAR WAS BRAND NEW. i told them i wanted the rim to at least be replaced. they (insurance) said no. i said i want depreciation pay, they said 15 percent of the damage is all that they would pay. thats 15 percent of 1500. i know for DAMN sure that depreciation is more that a mere 225 dollars. this is insurance from a government owned vehicle, i think they could afford it. so i got a lawyer, oh yeah, i am also having some back and neck pains, along with reoccuring headaches the morning after the wreck. so know i am seeing a chiropractor, and i am going to see what they will do. i will post pics shortly.

Looks like it's been a bad week for S2k's in Greenville -- maybe I should leave mine in the garage for a while!

Actually I have much more expertise in how NOT to do it but I could at least give you some time-saving pointers.

they agreed with the adjusters to get all new parts for damaged parts. so far, thats all. the price raised to about 300 dollar depriciation pay to around 2000 dollars. so far thats all, but i expect to hear more.
