Default Top maintenance

With all the heat and sun in the weather lately, I've been wondering about the S2K top. I keep it up during the day in an unshaded parking lot at work. This cooking every day can't be good for the top.

I've heard through other sites that 3M Cleaner and Protectant is good. Also low gloss Armorall.

I seem to remember an old thread on this subject that said that BMW has a good product (or it could have been Jaguar).

I rinse the top off well every time I wash the car. Should I use the Zaino car wash on the top too?

Airgate, you've done some detailing in your time. What do you use?

Here's an interesting debate (if you want to call it that ). I wash my top every time I wash the car. I'm surprised so many don't. It keeps it clean on a regular basis and minimizes the damage caused by the dirt and grit that gets into the "texture" of the plastic when opening and closing the top. THIS keeps the top clean. A protectant then keeps the UV damage to a minimum.
