when i bought mine the wanted 19995 for an 04 with 39102 on the clicker. i called and talked to him several times on a monday. told him i wanted 17 out the door. he called back and counter offered. i said no. i was paying in full so i want 17 and then he called back again and said ok. drove from greenville to macon ga that friday test drove and brought her home! just talk to them. they'll work with you. especially with how bad the economy is right now.

I agree with Slacker. Come up with a price, tell them if they can do it fine you'll buy it, if not, tough cookies.

DON"T haggle. I hate that crap. Just be firm. Remember, they have to sell cars, you don't have to buy them.

When are you coming back? Still want me to go look tonight or next week?

I got pictures that he sent me of the white one if anyone wants it send me an email and i'll fwd them along. Unfortunately I can't say when I'll be back (security reasons) but its soon enough (IMHO) to be car shopping.

As a reference point, I was able to buy my S2000 for what KBB quoted for "Excellent trade in value". Then they added tax, and that was it. Mine is a 2005 GPW with 7300 miles on it and a CPO. I purchased it in November 31, 2006 on a rainy day. In my experience, I've had great luck going in on the last day of the month to buy cars.

That must have been a really great day to buy a car, seeing how the month of November only has 30 days!!!

But I agree, last day of the month gets the best deals.
