How long has the S been at the dealership? If it has been several weeks your chances are good you don't have many to contend with. 4 hours is a long haul but very short if saving 2K! Most of the time the dealership will call you after you leave the first time with a counter offer or another chance at negotiation. Around here they sit for weeks one even sat for 6 weeks! Just my 2 cents and my experience. Where in SC are you there were a couple for sale last week private party that "looked" well maintaned on Craigs list.

The salesman e-mailed me pictures of the white one since they didn't have any one their website. Anyway, I think I want the black one more than the white one. (The white one looked like the steering wheel was being worn down). Anyway, I wont be able to buy for a tad bit more but should I email him and start the negotiation process? If so, where do I start? Should I just say "I'll offer you XX,XXX for the black one and xx,xxx for the white one" or what?

I'd say get the low mileage one if the difference is only a couple thousand bucks.
I don't like negotiating in person. I guess its just my personality, but it's just not my style. I think it wastes my time and theirs.
Just come up with what you think it is worth (out the door) and tell them if they can do XX,XXX out the door, you'll come up tomorrow and make the purchase. E-mail, phone, whatever makes you most comfortable. Then go up and check it out and make sure it's exactly what you want. I would never make that kind of drive without knowing the exact price before I arrived.
