DIY Black AP1 wheels

Seems to be a good technique with great outcome there.

In my case it was simple... I scuffed them, cleaned them and sprayed them.... about 2- 3 coats of paint and about the same coats of clear...

Personally, I like the ap2 painted black better!

Thats pretty much the method I used when i painted mine black. Strip them and then sand them, primer, paint, repeat, same with clearcoat!!! I put about 3 coats of paint and 4 coats of clear and 1 coat wheel protectant. The great thing about painting is when they get a chip or something on them you can fix it your self in about an hour
