Looks like the transplant will occur sometime next year but a lot of it will depend on my job.....

We love the area and toured a few for sale homes in Governor's Club that fit our space requirements. We didn't get a chance to visit Cary yet. Everything there seems more toned down and relaxed....definitely the car scene is not that visible at least from what we saw. I think I saw a few riced out honda's and not even one e92 m3. Could be we were in the wrong areas? haha

As the date gets closer we'll know more but should be a fun cross country drive to move some of our stuff.

Rick, there are a few different local clubs that put on autocrosses, track events, and rallycrosses. VIR is an hour and change from Raleigh/Durham; CMP is 3 hours south; Road Atlanta, Summit Point and Roebling Road are all five hours away.

If you decide to give the autocross thing a whirl, we're fortunate to have a strong local group of A-Stock drivers. Most in S2000s, and there is a father/son pair out of the triad area in a C4 Corvette who are also very fast.
