Given the short lead time, I think Normanball was a huge success. So, Normanball 1, the rest of you punks 0 (except for Sheila who I have learned is a hard core enthusiast).

Jabba was a little reluctant to participate fully. He was giving me the over the shoulder "what are you doing?" look:

Check out his box.. sweet:

I showed him the K&N filter. He tried to scratch me.

Sheila arrives and shows Jabba the basics of steering:

..more to come

It's off to HT!!! Sheila was having trouble keeping up :

At last!

My favorite aisle:

Might as well buy some stuff:

On the way back... mean road, just look at that sign! Eeeeek!

Home again, one more shot:

As Taylor01 said, it was around 50 minutes, but in that time Sheila and I did travel to a winding road in Huntersville, and I nearly lost it around a hairpin. It might be time for new S02s on the back, or maybe I just suck at drifting. Probably the latter.

Damage done:

-3 Amstel Lights
-One 1-2 grind (me)
-Two litter box bombs (Jabba)
-One cheese sandwich

Next year, we're talking t-shirts.

NormanBall was a huge success! Sign me up for next year.

Some highlights:
- Seeing Jabba
- Having a beer
- Petting Jabba
- Having a beer
- The hairpin turn on the way to the Teeter
- Having a beer

And the best thing about NormanBall.....50 minutes MAX!

This is the saddest thing I've ever seen on this board. I hope that paid professionals can help you Brett.

I've got to admit, I'm impressed. I've learned two things from NormanBall:

In these days of contracting attention spans and heavly scheduled lifestyles, the 50 minute meet has its place. (I'll continue to prefer the two to three day events, but that's just me.)

Second, all you have to do to get Brett to come to a meet is to bring it to him.

Way to go, Brett!

I'm not. I'm just sorry I started this!

Maybe I can travel a seven hours and a few hundred miles for Normanball 2. You did have beer.

You guys are cracking me up. Maybe I should have stopped by for the Harris Teeter pic

Anyone thinking of doing the track event at Lowe's? https://www.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.php?...?threadid=36735 Even if I don't do the event (if I can't get away from work Monday), I'm going to go over and watch on Sunday as it's 10mins from my house.
