My top has a small tear on the right side that just started, Are there any patch kits out there or any way to patch from the inside so it doesnt get worse?

Don't put your top down is about the only way to prevent it from getting worse from what I've found. A lot of people have made their own patches, there's a couple threads around here. A lady that worked at a reupholstery shop suggested I try using a waterbed patch. Might be an option?

I bought a roll of Gorilla tape in black, I read that works as well, Put a small peice on the inside of the car so it blends it nice, I hear this tape can flex, etc without coming loose.

I took mine to T&T upholstry in Columbia. The shop is in the ghetto and building looks like shyte, but they do excellent work. Had them put in patchs for $20. It was sorta a cloth/rubbery type of material and they used a spray glue gun.

Really? How did it come out? Can you tell as much that there used to be a hole/tear?

How many miles on your car? If its still under warranty it's covered. I found out near the end of my warranty that I was getting a wear spot. I didn't think it would turn into a hole that quick but it did. If I had known that I would have stopped driving it until it was fixed. Car is out of warranty now. My dealer worked a "deal" with me. They will cover the 25% of the cost. Car is in the shop right now for top replacement. Should be out tommorrow. If you know someone that can put it on. Here's a good deal I found too late.
