Dragon Fans!

It's time for the annual summer "officially un-official non-event" known as McDragon, June 27, 28, 29.

What's Planned?
Nothing; that's the whole point. It's just a small, informal gathering of S2Ks to drive our favorite road, and enjoy the "rustic" mountain atmosphere of Fontana Village.

When?
Arriving sometime early Friday afternoon, leaving Sunday late morning. (A stop at the Jarrett House for lunch on Sunday is about the only "planned" event.)

Where?
A few of us have rented a cabin at Fontana Village. Anyone is welcome; just grab a buddy if you'd like to get another cabin, or make a reservation for a lodge room. Everyone makes their own reservations.

NOTE: You can get 25% off lodge rooms and 15% off cabins by telling them you're a member of the "Dragon Slayer's Club". No fees; you just sign a card once you get there.

Other Notes:
- The Solstice/Sky at the Dragon event will be running the same weekend, so rooms/cabins are going fast. They have about 50 cars registered, last I checked. Here's a link to their event if you're interested:

What timing! We are headed to Maui that weekend to celebrate our 30th. We really hate to miss a good time with great people.

 

That's going to be tough...I've already got to be out of the office the first weekend in June for continuing ed...another weekend...in the same month....hmmmm .

Put me down as a tentative...I'll have to do some serious scheming.

 

The saturn guys will be there? OHHHHHAHH I am definilty coming then. It will be fun to have them try and chase me EVIL GRIN

 

I may end up coming. That is the weekend of my mother's birthday and we usually have a family party.

 

That's not what I'm thinking at all...

 

Put me down as tentative for now I guess. I'll have to find out if I can get off work. I should be able to though.
