sad to say but this project did not go the way i wanted....
long story short, school and the lack of storage space had been pushing me to sell it.. since im in school, i ran out of money to fund the project...and my parents influenced my final decision on the sale of this work in progress vehicle.
if anyone is interested in the local area to buy and take it off my hands
im asking for 6500 for the rolling shell.. in the end you will need complete motor and tranny, battery, fanswitch to get it running.. brake pads are needed, front bumper is missing..
man, youre a day late. i just picked up a project car yesterday. where are you located? i might be interested if i can do some research on how much the motor/tranny, etc...will cost...does the car come with seats/airbags/top?

im in charlotte and have a warehouse. maybe i could rent you storage

i have a tranny with notchy 6th gear asking 600
no top and no seats...
airbags yes...
interior is gone..
you can get a complete motor for about 2500. add in clutch, flywheel,pp, radiator hoses, battery, bolts etc etc...to get it to run no more than 4 grand....6-7 grand tops to get it complete complete (full interior, front bumper, convertible top,etc etc)
instead of convertible top you can get a hardtop and save yourself some extra work and possibly money... (plus saves u weight)

hoping to be down there Sunday for a pick-up! A slow back-to-stock(or close anyway) project, using my blerlina s2000's interior and soft-top. The engine/trans will have to come later, unless we can barter a trade for some turbo components

Any rollbars in production yet, since you're going to be in the area?

Thats kind of another reason why Im getting this; I want to cage my berlina S2000 and that makes it rather hard to build rollbars in But yes, I have begun bending some main hoops, trying some things on for size, I would say within two weeks we will have something ready for sale! Id like to meet some more S2KI people though, if its OK with Mike, lets have a BBQ or something
