Date: Saturday December 8th and Sunday December 9th

Plans for Saturday:
I figure this will be the day that most people will be showing up. Plans will possibly include dinner at around 5pm (Chili's, Applebee's, Friday's... something of that nature) and then either going to the movies or head to Joker's Piano Bar (www.jokerspianobar.com). This place is awesome, with live music and dueling piano's. It's mostly classic rock, but since they go by request, as long as they know it, they'll play it. This always equals a good, drunken time.

Plans for Sunday:
A central meeting point will be decided (more than likely one of the two hotels listed below). We will all meet there at 11am, and from there cruise out to Frank Liske Park for the meet and BBQ'ing. Come hungry.

This park is actually just north of the city, but it is really nice, very large, and not far at all. There are plenty of picnic areas and LOTS of parking. We are even contemplating reserving the barn, which is heated just in case winter does decide to show up this year and the weather is cool in December.

Again, this is something where I need y'all's input. Also will also be partially determined by the day we choose.

Food: Of Course
We will definitely be grilling out, so we'll need to be able to get an estimate of people so that we can prepare adequately. Burgers, dogs, soda... everybody knows how this works.

 

Okay guys/gals, this is a meet that a friend of mine and I are getting together here in the Carolina's. We are posting it on a few forums and just trying to get a nice sized crowd for the meet and I know how great our Carolina's community is so I figured I would get all of the great folks here to join.

I will be updating this thread with any info/changes/etc when things start to come together more and become set in stone.

Help me make this a meet to remember everyone

I just bought my s2000 back in June so i am relatively new to this site.
I live just below Charlotte near the Waxhaw area of Union County.
If I can make it up, it will be me and my fiancee........we're getting married next august.
It will be nice to meet some of you guys, currently i only know one other s2000 owner
