I highly recommend Collision Specialists on Independence. Mark Mahoney is the owner. He does ALL the bodywork and painting for Acura and Lexus dealerships. It is the Only bodyshop that the dealers will send their cars to. For example if a new unsold car is damaged it goes to Collision Specialists to be fixed. Check it out.

Wow....thanks for all the help, guys! All this support makes dealing with all this a lot less painful. (The forum members and a good shot of scotch, that is!) I'll check out some of these recommendations. Thanks again!

Fred Hudson at 4327 Carlotta Street off Morris Field (tel 704-399-7614) is outstanding -- Mercedes and Lexus specialist. Careful and meticulous, very good working with insurance company.

Pemberton Coach & Chasis worked on my Honda and Acura. They do high class vehicles and their work is flawless. I highly recommend them. They are off Albermarle Road past the new Home Depot.

Arrrrrrrgh! It's taken until YESTERDAY for just the parts to come in! ("We had to get them from Japan, you understand...."). So...it'll be at LEAST next Wednesday before she's ready; at the earliest! That's going to be almost a full month for body work. On one hand, I'm pleased that they will be taking their time to get the job done right; on the other hand, I just want my car back!
Somehow, the rental Chevy Malibu just isn't the same.....

FINALLY..............She's back, she's back, she's back!!!! Just picked it up today...33 days for repairs; about double what I expected.
The delays were all due to back-ordered parts (a national back-order for the tow ring cover???? Weird.) Anyway, it's great to be back in the saddle again. Despite the delays, Arnold Palmer Cadillac did an outstanding job; the paint is just perfect. Now, just need a few new coats of Zaino.
TigerToy, I saw your red at Arnold Palmer today. Really sorry about your rear-ending, especially with it only being 2 weeks old. I hope you get it back soon. We can commiserate over a beer on Thursday.
Thanks again for all the support. It's been a long month; glad it's over.
