Default Some Help With 2004 Conversion parts

I'm going to buy the 2004 front bumper and headlights. Does anyone know where I could purchase these at the best price? Everyone has said that I can't buy the front bumper painted unless directly from Japan, but I'm not sure. Any Help? Also, any prices or sites for the 04 rims and tires.

Hardtopguy.com is definitely where you'll find the best prices on the bumper and headlights. I believe the headlights would run you about $700 and the bumper about $200, unpainted. Shipping ought to be about $75.00 for all that.

As for the wheels and tires, you could probably also get those from Hardtopguy.com, but OEM wheels are pretty expensive brand new. I'd keep my eye out on the For Sale/Wanted forum for a set to come up there if you're not in a hurry.

Best thing to do is just go to www.hardtopguy.com and fill out their form online with a list of the things you need and they'll respond pretty quick with an estimate.

I'm going through all this right now as I had a little front end accident in the ice storm last weekend and so I've been pricing around. The folks at Hardtopguy.com have been great to work with so far!

Good luck!

Thanx alot. I received the prices from him and they are great. Hardtopguy is a pimp. Does anyone know if the 2004 tail lamps just fit right in without any modifications and/or how hard the install would be?

Might want to do some searching, but I don't think that conversion is as easy as the front...

Good luck and show us some pictures once you've made some progress!

Remembering my conversation with a guy at Fall Colors who had completed the rear tail lamp conversion, the only thing you'll need to do is cut some metal as the harnesses won't fit right and the housing of the lamps extends into the metal areas of the S2000. He stated the harnesses were the same but said that the metal work was more than he anticipated, but he was unable to turn back.

The rear lamps are alright. Love the LED's, but I hate the AMBER signal and the three circles simply complex the rear of our S. I like the look of two circles and the amber signal turn being hidden behind the clear diffuser in the rear. However, I wish we could get that LED effect for the rear.

I love the LED as well, but I'm not about to do any metal work or send it to a body shop so I'm going the easy way out for now and changing the front bumper and I'll eventually get the front lip spoiler as well, I love that setup
