I had the same thought, until I got them done. I never really disliked the orange, but not having it there looks much better, IMO... After a while, the orange just looks out of place.

I always thought the orange looked OK on my black, you know? It kinda adds a little contrast. It's the same reason I don't like altezzas on anything. Too much clear plastic. I don't know. I didn't want to change the car at all when I got it, and that lasted all of 3 weeks.

Sheila's Silverstone really looks good with the clear diffusers & sidelights. I think my Red is going to look better with the smoked lenses. The orange just doesn't go with the red for me.

For the Black, I could see keeping the orange.

Got my smoked side markers today.

Quality looks good & the tint looks like a good match for my smoked JDM headlights.

No more amber on my Red!

Any pics?

And I agree, amber with Berlina Black looks great, IMO. My old baby!

Got my smoked side markers in the mail yesterday. They are exactly the same size as the OEM's and popped right on with no problems. The difference vs. clear is very subtile when they're on the car, but it does 'finish' the smoked look.

Wow.

I wanted to talk to you about this at our meet this week.

I got my markers and they were _not_ the same size as the OEM's. One went on but would not line up properly and the plasitc tab broke on the other as I tried to install it.

Did yours have metal spring clips instead of the plastic retainer as on the OEM?

I may have just screwed up the installation but I've installed both OEM and white sidelights before without these problems.
