Default shop that will install remote starter ???

Hi People,
Does anyone know any shop around Charlotte, Fort Mill or Rockhill that is willing to install a remote starter for the S. I live in Charlotte near Fort Mill. Planning on buying an alarm for my car with the remote starter but i know that installing a remote starter on a manual is illegal. How much should i expect to pay for the installation??

Thanks.

By the way, I'm new to S2ki.com

Don't know too much about who would install it for you, but if you're looking for information on getting it to work on the S or which one to install, try checking out this thread or asking in the Electronics Forum.

Good luck!

I have read some very bad stories about remote starters and manual transmissions. Even read one about an S2000 going through a garage door. Check the Houston regional forum for the thread.

I would be careful if you do this. We are in the South, so warming up the car usually does not take too long.

well..the reason i want to install it because in the winter time or in cold weather, the window are frozen..i wake up at 6 to go to work...and most of the time is it frozen. don't have time to let it dry off with the heat..or i be late to work....
your right we are in the south ..it just when it iswinter season i'm concern about..

also when i go clubbing on weekend i want to warm it up so i can hit vtec when someone want to race me.. found that out the hard way..

I also go to school at night time..(window are frozen and seat are cold)..don't want to sit there and warm up the car

i never put my car in 1st gear or any other except neutral ..

but thanks...
