honda won't do it.
i sent the dfy to the shop and after reading it he say he can do it but will not be responsilbe for any damages afterward..like if the glass break, leak and so on since it is not made for the 01...
so i don't know..still thinking..

I just had an '02 top installed on The Bruised Banana ('01). Tony (aka moparacker) did the installation. Tony lives in Virginia Beach, is an S2000 owner himself, and as of my installation, has currently completed 3 such installations for S2000 owners. He's just about the labor, however. You'd have to purchase your desired top yourself.
Please consider PM'ing moparacker for more information on his services. I recommend him highly .

If you purchase one brand-spankin' new from Hardtopguy.com, you'll spend $850 (which will be your best "new" price).
Dave22 purchased one "nearly-new" from a fellow that was upgrading his top [on his newly purchased suzuka S2000] from a black one to a blue top -- Dave22 paid the guy $700 for his black nearly-new top.
I purchased a top that had a 1 1/2" tear in it caused by the previous owner's frame detachment that punched a clean slit in the top. It was dkhl's top and he got a new one under warranty (actually, he too, upgraded at that time to a blue top for his suzuka). I paid the dealership $75 for the top, $10 for a repair shop to fix the hole, $30 for a tint shop to do their thang with the rear glass while off the frame , and then $300 to moparacker for the installation.
