Shop Recomendations - Charlotte and/or Surrounding Area
Hello all! I am currently living around the Charlotte area and am looking for shop recomendations in the Charlotte and/or surrounding areas. Approximately 2 years ago I had a horrible experience at a shop in Charlotte where the front office manager took my WRX out for a "test drive" and ended up crashing after driving drunk (hence I am a little gun shy to allow another shop to work on the s2K). Any help is appreciated.

Thus far I've heard that HPT Autosport in Arden, NC is a good shop as well as RLZ Engineering in Concord, NC is good as well. I am curious of any others.
HPT Autosport is also an authorized Kraftwerks S/C dealer and installer.

HPT is legit - 2 hours away when I'm in Charlotte, 20 minutes away when I'm at my Asheville house. My Fiance's cousin was my go to in Asheville. We'll fix it auto - Will is awesome, low key, professional, and had a hell of a Turbo CRX until wife and kids...he gets the 2 or 3 NSX's in the area coming to him.

RLZ has built up a good reputation with Hondas in the area. I think they're some kind of Hondata certified something-or-another. 42 Autosports is another group of good, trustworthy guys. Talk to Steven Rankins up there.

Heard Compact Car Service was good. Had a friend go there for some work on his Civic SI hatch. Heres a link: http://www.compactcarservice.net. They're right off of independence blvd.

Come to think of it, Asia Works is run by a fellow Honda Challenge competitor. After watching him swap a motor in his civic at the NASA Championships last year, in the paddock, in under 6 hours start to finish, pretty sure he's qualified.
