Default SC window tint.

What is the law with regards to window tinting in SC. I heard the back must be darker than the side windows....but what is the lowest percentage you can go?

Also, those with really dark tint...do you think you get pulled over more with really dark tint. I wanna tint my windows out but don't wanna get hassled to much.

A reputable tint shop should be able to answer all your questions. With the S having such small windows, I don't think you'd need limo-black to make it dark.

TintDude.com - State Laws

Just googled for it and sounds about right (I know the 35% in NC is correct). So based on that, SC is 27% all around. If you want to go darker than that, you better befriend a mechanic that will pass you for state inspection.

That sucks. 27% isn't even dark. Oh well. Anyone know how much the fine is? I may get 15% all around and take my chances.
