From S2K to a Beetle...
I haven't posted in a long time, but I drove the newest purchase past smccoy and Ron's house the other day and thought I'd check in with them. I figured I'd check in here as well.
My wife wanted a "fun" car so we traded in her Celica for a 2004 VW Beetle Convertible Turbo. I'm actually quite pleased with the car. It's got a lot more guts than I thought it would have. So, at least we still have a rag top in the family. But I still do miss my S. In a few years I'll get another third car, maybe this time an early 90's 911 Turbo . Either that, or maybe the S will have 300HP by then.
Ya'll keep the revs high!

I gotta say that you are brave. I can drive a Beetle just fine, but a convertible Beetle is just pushing it. It's a cute car, but the convertible makes it a complete CHICK car.
I'm just kidding around with you Brett! Share some pics when you get a chance.

I've gotta say, the Beetle convertable wasn't as "Cute" as I thought it would be.
It's got a solid design and some nice features. An incredible amount of room considering the size of the car. Brett wouldn't let me drive it so I have to take his word on the performance.
I was standing on the Big Decktm when Brett drove up. Not a cute car, but it did take me a few seconds to figure out who the bald girl driving was...
