16 year old kid cut in front of me at the last second tyring to get into his neighborhood

had his 12 year old brother in the passenger seat.. their 2000 blazer flipped over twice and landed on the roof.

In landing on the roof...you mean *their* roof...right!? OMG!!! People as so impatient and now...look at how much time they added to getting home. If folks would "plan ahead" and be a little more patient, accidents like this would be avoided.

Man, it sucks to hear this from anyone/any car. Especially someone who had put so much time & effort into making this car even more bad a$$. Really sorry to hear it, boss.

Looking on the bright side though, you're safe, and now you have a good excuse to buy the fastest color, Silverstone!

The story goes like this..

SUNNY AND 65 TIME 4:00 PM on a tuesday

Headed home after school (second degree at UNCC)
I was going north on betties ford rd and Two SUV were headed south.

The next thing I saw was the second SUV right in front of me (perpendicular ()).
I had no time to react. (could not even get my foot on the break)
Next thing the airbags popped out/engine cut off/seat belt locked/ and smoke everywhere. I stayed in the car for a second, not knowing if another car was going to hit me or not. Last got out with 911 already on the phone.
Not a mark on me.
One more reason to buy another S2000!!!

He was taking a left into his neighborhood, which was on my right.

His exact words two seconds after he crawled out were, "I saw you the whole way, but I thought I could make it"

It just reminds me when I first started driving and had no depth/speed perception. It takes time to develope those skills.

Bad news .... The car was looking great..
I bought this car myself for my 21 birthday 5 years ago..

New 2.2 engine and tran. in DEC of 05
New top with glass window installed the WEEK BEFORE
New tent all the way around.

New tires on the way. and 66k on original brake pads which I had another pair to replace (at 100k or later)
