Requesting a Zaino Day
#31
Yeah, and we're still waiting on Mulder for member trading cards, web site, etc, etc.
Why don't you come to Wilmy like we talked about and get 'er done.
(We've only got a couple good weather days left before I have to go back to work.)

Hmmm, got the Pinehurst meet on the 7th, then the door ding event on the 13th... Then my B-day's on the 20th... Gonna be a tough call for me... I'd love to drive down and do it though... Let me think on it a bit more...

Zaino fans!
I'd like to revive this and get a date on the books. Let's nail down a date for a Zaino clinic here, and then I'll be glad to start a new thread with the specifics, a signup list and the "what to bring" list.
I'll also be glad to call Steve Treece and invite him, but we should procede with plans to do this on our own. However, I'm sure he would be happy to be available for questions by phone.
This would also give folks a chance to buy their supplies ahead of time. (Steve's contact number at Carolina Shine is listed below; he'll be able to tell you exactly what you'd need, depending on the current condition of your finish.)
Dave (bluegas68), which of the following dates work best for you and the shop? (Also, how many cars can "comfortably" fit inside?)
- Saturday, Feb. 3rd
- Saturday, Feb 10th
If neither date is good, give us your preferred alternate. Thanks again for volunteering the use of your awesome shop!

Either date is fine as I'm pretty wide open through the middle of March. I can probably comfortably fit between 8-9 cars (comfortably meaning ample room to get around all sides of the car). In a pinch w/ some rearranging, probably a few more. Also, if it is anice day there is concrete outside of the baydoors. The lot however, is gravel . I just need enough time to get the floors swept and cars moved around before everyone gets here (we pull as much in as possible every night). So, you guys tell me when you want to do it and I will be ready!
As an after thought, the first weekend may be better for any "romantic" couples planning a Valentines Getaway for the weekend of the 14th, but it doesnt affect me at all (damnit!)

Good point about the weekends before and after Valentine's Day. Also, my 2/3/07 date just got booked, so how about Saturday, Feb 24th?
It might be a little warmer then too!
If this sounds good, I'll start a new thread.
