Angry rear camber

ok so i have a +35 offset in the rear of my s. i love the way the wheel looks, all deep dished and what-not. so i had to put aluminium spacers in the springs to stop the sidewalls from rubbing on the fenders. i had yellow jacket roll my fenders and that pretty much solved the rubbing problem, it also got rid of the horrible lookin fender gap. now it only rubs when i hit a good sized dip in the road or an uneven patch on the interstate. now that they're rolled the tires are rubbin on straight fender and i dont wanna start eating the paint.
i've searched the site and all i can get is people saying that a -1.7 camber is about the max i would wanna go or i would risk eating the inside of my tires. while others say they are runing -2.0 and are having no problems... im super confused. i just wanna know if any of you guys can shed any light on my dilema.

heres a pic of the current set up

thanks,
eric

I think -1.7 degrees is barely within the factory alignment specs (or barely outside it). You won't go through tires much faster at all going to -2 camber. Tires start to show inner wear at about the -2.5 mark and up.

But if I were you, I would run whatever camber I needed to stop that rubbing. Tires are cheaper than replacing fenders!

im at i think -2.5 on the rears. tires have worn some but then again i drive like an a****** 95% of the time. just have the rear tires swapped at like 10k miles and i think you should be fine.

swapped side to side meaning take both tires off the rims and switch them since u cant just swap whole wheel and tire from side to side

I run 3.25 in the rear and around 2.10 up front. I get my tires fliped side to side to get twice the life out of them.

You can't do that with directional tires though right? I know all three sets of tires I have had are directional.

Thats why you dismount and turn the tire over so its going the opposite direction and place on the other side of the S.
