Default Raleigh meeting

Ok. Are we meeting in Raleigh every month or is the location going to differ? I live in upstate SC and don't mind driving to Raleigh but not every month. Charlotte would be a much more centralized location. Anyone else feel this way?? I'm looking forward to checking the club out. If anyone wants, email me at dave@virtual1.net. I also own an internet business and would love to create and host a site for the Carolina S2000 Club.

dfr867: No, the first meet is scheduled for Raleigh but we will definately set up different sites along the year. Southern Pines has been mentioned and was the "orginal" choice for the first meet. However, Raliegh is centralized for most of the S2000 owners on the Carolina's forum, hence the decision to base the first meet there.

Lots of info will be discussed during the first meet and we will probably assign some "simple" duties for a few of the members who are interested. Issues like this certainly be discussed so that we can map out our meets along the year. I'm thinking of having a meet in Charleston and then maybe Myrtle Beach and so on!

Now we are talking! This is another excellent reason why we need this first meet so badly. While s2ki.com is an excellent source for S2000 information, events and so on, a local club site would be very sweet!

Let's be sure and talk when we meet up on February 23rd!

Thanks,

-Raul (airgate)

Thanks for the quick response. I've been on Hondahookup's site for some time and it takes forever to get someone to reply to you.

So what you are saying is that there won't be a centralized meeting. Our meetings throughout the year would be in different cities in both North and South Carolina. That's not a bad idea however ocestrating it will be a great feat. I belong to a local Z Club as well and it has turned in nothing but politics. The whole point of having the club is to have fun. I'm, personally, very glad to find another club that surrounds my new S2000. There is no car in the world like it.

Charleston would be a cool locale for a meet in the summer.
