Dan, I thought that MyBad would be coming from the Charlotte area but I plan on passing Raleigh around 10:30am or so. I have to leave New Bern at 8am so I cna be in Knoxville (WestSide Honda) around 4pm.

I looks like things are beginning to shape up for the convoy. I suggest we meet at I40 and US1 between 10:00 and 10:15. Hopefully the Charlotte group will meet us in Statesville for lunch around 12:30.

Probably some place on the western side of Raleigh would reduce drive times since we have to drive that direction anyway. For example, I would have to drive a half hour south east to get to the US1 /I40 intersection (exit 293) and then drive west a again. It would add 45 minutes + to my trip.
I'm trying to think of an ideal place, bathrooms/ food/gas for the folks coming from the west. Exits 284 & 287 and exit 278 off I40 have all that. Any other conveniences we might want to consider?
