Default Raleigh Area C&C?

I was wondering if anyone in the S2K group attends a Cars and Coffee in the Raleigh area. If so, which one and where is it?

The old C&C has been booted out of several places and it looks like there is no, or limited, interest in our people to get together.

I remember the old days when we met at Breir Creek. There were as many as 35 S2000s in attendance. I think the post C&C drives attracted most of the people. That is no longer done. It was a great idea until a few owners got silly and nearly cause injuries. The drives were very spirited which factored in risks that are no longer acceptable.Maybe a caravan thru the area at the speed limits would be something to consider.

Let's get together people..

I still attend the Morrisville C&C on the first Saturday of the month, though not religiously. I totally agree with Lee--the turnout and crowd is not what it used to be at Brier Creek. I miss the group drives and meals. The camaraderie with local owners was a nice bonus of owning this car, but I don't see much of that anymore. It doesn't help that more and more S2000s are falling into the hands of dubious owners who care more about scene points than what this car is all about. [/soapbox]

With that said, I'll be at the Morrisville show next Saturday. Hopefully we can get a few cars together afterwards for a drive!

I would be at that meet if I didn't have a conflict.

My first meeting of the EAA and I might be shopping for an ultralight.

If the first Saturday is the usual meet day, I will be at the next C&C in September.
