im new to the east coast and is in jacksonville NC and was wondering whats the closest track to do some type of circuit?

 

Rockingham, NC is 3 Hours away, SCCA will have a Performance Driving Experience (PDX) in Sept. www.ncrscca.com No rollbar needed, but I'll be running my hardtop.

Carolina Motorsports Park in Kershaw SC is 4 hours away from J-Ville. www.carolinamotorsportspark.com

VIR is 3-1/2 hours and has track days, but you'll need a rollbar vs. the stock S2k roll hoops. www.virclub.com

Plenty of NC Autocrossing Clubs run on some pretty big Airport sites, which sometimes are like road courses:-) NCR has an event planned at the Kinston, Global Transpark this upcoming weekend and at least 3 Autocrosses at New River Air Station in Jacksonville.

Roebling Road Raceway is a few hours south of CMP if you're interested. Jon Krolewicz holds his Seat-Time driving school down there. Great guy and best track day prices!
