Default Pricing Help

whats up guys I have a situation on my hands and I need some advice. About a week ago one of my friends called me and said he knew a guy who wanted to buy my car. The problem is I dont really know a fair price to offer him, taking into consideration that its not a big deal if I sale it or not, what do some of you guys think a good price would be. She is a 2000 model with 119000mi. I was thinking 13000 asking price. Please offer suggestions on good price or not.

Price higher then the least you would take. If they bite, sweet, if not, it opens the table for negotiations. Best quote ever concerning selling...

"Everything I own is for sale, Just make me an offer I can't refuse"

Honestly, I think that car should be in the $11-12k range.

I sold my S2000 with about 12,000 less miles on it for $11,500. But like it has been already said, start high and see what happens from there.

I'm selling my 2001 model with 103K with some mods for 11.5K. But it has a replacement engine.

Start a little on the high end.. Then come down. Once you put a price on it you can't go up.... Good luck...

You also have to take in consideration that the market is saturated with these cars so don't start with your aim too high or you might just scare your buyer to go some were else! imo $12,500 is a good start for negotiating.

Kelly Blue Book's website at kbb.com can give you most car's values with mileage and condition and location taken into account. And you can see classifieds of similar cars to see what others are asking.
