Pleasant Police Experience
So Saturday night my fiance and I are pulled over by one of North Carolina's finest. She is driving her BMW and is one of those people that just can't ever seem to find a constant speed so there is always fluxuation.
We are on 485 in Charlotte doing about 80 (he ends up saying 79.8) when the blue lights come on. Trooper steps the window, tells her that the legal speed limit is 65 and asks to see her license. She hands it over...
He asks where we are heading in such a hurry and she responds that we were going home after dinner at a friends house. His response, "man I love honesty."
He checks all of the inspection stickers and registration stickers and presumably verifies that she doesn't have any outstanding warrants, walks back the car and tells her to slow it down. He isn't going to write a ticket or a warning since he is simply out looking for DUIs. He gets back into his car and drives off into the night.
Total time: ~5 minutes max.

HA....that will never happen to me. I have the worst luck with the po po. I'm usually always honest except for this one time (I was young & stupid) and the cop called me out and made me feel like an idiot. Needless to say, i got a ticket. I have never been given a warning or had the luxury of driving off ticket-less
