Default Paintless Dent Removal Meet - Raleigh, NC

Hey guys! Spring is here and as promised we are going to have a Dent Day with paintless dent removal. I have a couple of vendors on standby to perform the work for us, bust just need to get an idea of numbers so I will know whether we need to make this a one or two day event one weekend. For those of you who have never had this service, paintless dent removal is basically removal of your dents and dings by going behind the body panels with various rods and tools and massaging the dent out by hand. This service is usually a fraction of the cost of body shop repairs and requires no paint or downtime. Most basic dents can be removed within an hour or less. This dent day will be set up at a group discount and the more panels per car, the greater the discount. While it is very difficult to give a price up front based on a description of the dent or area, a modest estimate is usually about $100 per panel with a $50 for each additional panel. This is a normal, non-discounted estimate, which we would recieve a group discount depending on numbers interested. Location and size of the dents may alter this estimate as certain areas can be very difficult to get to.

For now, I would like to limit this to S2000's only, but if there is enough time and interest, I would be happy to extend this offer to other makes and models as well (ie, wives, girlfriends, etc cars). I would like to keep it within the club as much as possible.

If you are interested, please post up name, vehicle, dates/times that work best for you and areas on the vehicle that need dents removed. Once I have some numbers I will contact the dent guys and get a date and time lined up for us.

1. Henge - Fender

2. SakiGT - Hood, trunk, rear fenders (hail damage)

3. mlc - right rear quarter

4. GrandMasterKhan - rear near antenna

5. my2ks2k - doors/fenders

6. Daddydidntbuy it - trunk

7. parkerdt - somewhere

8. ccajun4real - right rear quarter

9. _rs_ - doors and fenders

10. hondanc7 - various dents

I will update this thread as time goes on.

I have five small dings on four different panels - hail damage on the hood, trunk, both rear fenders - I'm up depending on the estimated price.

Your guy at the dealership will probably be the one doing it. I worked with Nick for a while at my old shop (I've never met Scott). I think I will give him first shot at it and if not call the guy who works for our dealer.

Hey J, I am definitely interested. I have two on the right rear quarter panel that need to be done for sure. And then maybe one other panel.

Keep in mind, as of now I am just getting numbers together, so if you are interested, post up. It does not obligate you in any way. However, if you are wishy-washy or on the fence about it, please do not post as I would like to be able to give the dent guys accurate numbers so that I can get accurate estimates on the discounts from them.

I spoke briefly with Scott about this after he finished my car, and he said he'd definitely be interested in doing one of these group dent days.

Jay, give Scott a ring if Nick is unavailable @ 252 646 7487.

I've got a few of his cards for interested folks at the next meet as well.
