So...anyone going to ozzfest this coming weekend? Just curious. I have no idea if that appeals to this crowd, but I'll be there. Just look for the preppy guy in the mosh pit. I'll be the one with less tattoos

And I'm really looking forward to seeing Ozzy, it ought to be a good laugh at the least. Certainly going to enjoy Korn. Any band that can work the sounds of bagpipes into metal has my !!

 

I would love to go, but I don't think I will. I am wondering if it will happen this year. It has been cancelled every year for like the last 3-4 years around here.

Canceled? At what venue? We'll be at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater here in Charlotte on Sunday. It's not been canceled any year that I'm aware of here.

Anyone catch 'The Osborns' episode where they have a breathalyzer? Supposedly Ozzy blows some amazingly high blood alchohol level. I didn't see it, but someone told me about it.

 

I think he ment around his town? It hasn;t been canceled in Charlotte. I went about 3 years ago when Linkin Park was there, totally awesome!

I wanna go but I don't really care about seeing the earlier bands. What time would I need to show up to at least see Korn and Ozzy?

 

I beleive the main stage starts at 5 pm. So you'll want to show up sometime before that. There's a schedule on the Ozzfest website. The event starts at 9am, but there won't be too many people there till after noon. There will also be a lot of stuff besides the bands, tattoo and peircing studios setup and a lot of other neat stuff, so I hear.
