Outer Banks in April?
We have visited the Outer Banks in September and Myrtle Beach area in April both times we had great weather, which I know is the luck of the draw.
We really enjoyed the Outer Banks and were thinking of a mid April vacation. however I see some places don't even open hotel pools until May. While hubby and I don't mind cooler weather to play tourist or walk on the beach, we may have a couple of teens with us who might want pool time/beach time.
Do any of you live in that area? Is it just too early to spend $ on a vacation in that area if one wants pool time and warmer temps? Either way the weather there will be better than in MA, just not sure if it's too early to visit.

Thanks. I know last spring they had a warm week in mid April. We ran into some folks returning from the Outer Banks at a rest stop when we were returning from SC. I didn't think it was the norm though.
