Yeah, that's why the S2000 started from a symbol 16 on insurance ratings to now, a whopping, symbol 22 or 23. Insane.

 

Ok....so I got two different estimates. For the rear drive shaft assembly alone this has to be done

Replace Left Lower Control Arm
Replace Left Knuckle
Replace Left Strut Assembly
Replace Left Hub Assembly
Replace Left Axle Assembly
Replace Left Control Arm
Four Wheel Alignment
Plus All the Labour

This does not even include all the new body pieces...most of which have to be replaced.

 

And what exactly is the "hub assembly" ??

 

so yes....even though I'm not paying for the repairs I've decided to sell the car when I get it back in two weeks.

 

For reference that's going to cost a lot more than 5K so I hope your ready for it I won't be surprised if its double that...

 

but at least your not paying
