Oil Catch can set up (ebay)

Yeah thats true, you get what you pay for.... but i felt stupid to buy a $150.00 can that just holds oil.
But as far as oil filters i feel its pretty important to get OEM

You can also use the filters for air compressors. Thats what I did with mine.
I've since replaced the Lowes hose with some fuel hose from Advance. The black matches better, and also doesn't collapse and look nasty like the clear hose does.

bump from the dead, but this is the exact same catch can i bought ebay for 40ish shipped. how did you precisely mount it. seems like the only place to mount it. i couldnt do it by the coolant reservoir. i see two screws in the OEM mount for the OEM air box. did you drill a second hole?

Just FYI, when I had my V-AFC II installed, I would get the same code and the car would go into "limp mode." Even when I had a catch can installed, the problem would still come up.
I noticed that it would only happen when I would go around turns with the RPMs right around the 5900rpm vtec engagement point (it would go in and out of vtec with throttle modulation). If I noticed that I was going around a turn and the RPMs were around 5900, I either had to change gears, or slow down/speed up to keep the code from coming.

The same thing was happening to me but I edited the post "Actually the problem was my APEXI NEO. Since it is made to fit a bunch of different cars, apexi left out that you were supposed to SPLICE the "light green wire" (VTM - oil pressure) into the oil pressure wire in the ECU."
I did that and i fixed everything lol
I didnt really need the oil catch can and baffled valve cover

Are we sure the oil isn't shifting away from the pickup in the pan? Sucking air will lower the oil pressure bellow the vtec oil pressure sensors setpoint. I know a lot of people run a baffled pan when they run R-comps to fight oil starvation. Just a thought.
Ever thought of using an Accusump?
