Sure! Do you know of a good meet-up spot near where Hwy 321 comes into I-40? I plan to meet up with Ron around 4:00 at an undetermined location near there on Thursday.

there's a mcdonalds about a mile from the 321/i-40 intersection. thats where jamie and i meet when we went up there in march.

That sounds good....can you tell us exactly which Exit # and/or road name off of I-40? We could plan to meet at that McDonald's around 4:00 pm on Thurs. <excitment building.............>

Raul,

Man, I would love to drive up that way with you, however, I was planning on leaving Asheboro around 6:00 Friday morning, and that would put me at the Dragon around 11:00-12:00.

I know you have to drive forever (ocean to mountains) to get to the Dragon, but with your current schedule you probably wouldn't get there until 5:00-6:00 Friday evening.

Maybe we can work on a compromise

Ugh! Why does the Dragon have to be sooooo far for me.

Alright, I can make it from New Bern to the Dragon in about 9 hours. So, if I leave earlier...say 5am from New Bern, that will put me passing Raleigh around 8am.

Let's see...that would put you coming through Winston-Salem (that will be closer to our destination) around 9:30-9:45(depending on traffic).

I can do that if you want to...I'll miss some Dragon runs, but as they say 'enjoy the journey'...the drive up will be more enjoyable with a buddy. That should still put us at the Dragon about 3:00PM. Plus...I could even sleep a couple of more hours

!!!

Let me know if that sounds good to you, and between now and then I figure out the best place (Winston-Salem/I-40) for us to hook-up, and head West
