Wow, I step away from the forum for a day or so and there's all this bas news.

I'm glad to hear you're okay Dave. The car will be good as new soon, I'm sure.

Hey, Dave...watch out for those big ol' suv's.

Glad nobody was hurt. Did the SUV airbags deploy?

And are you SURE you aren't hurt? Sure that neck isn't a little stiff? Maybe some new back pains? Maybe you should talk with Legal Bill before you declare yourself fit.

Thanks for all the concern and good wishes, folks.

Heading to the Body Shop tomorrow. The dang appraiser can go over there just as easily as he can come here, and I trust what Frank Gibson has to say more than an appraiser I do not know. I think I am probably looking at a hood, driver's side fender, front bumper, bumper cover, grill, and the various and sundry parts that make up the fender liners. A driver's side headlamp assembly, but fortunately the bulbs all work. And a new black chrome H emblem - if HTG still has any in stock....

I haven't had the car on a lift or a frame jig yet, but at the sped, I'd be really surprised if that were an issue. Of course, I've been surprised before...

$3965 estimate from Frank Gibson at Gibson's Autowerks. Saw a silver AP2 with a messed-up rear end getting worked on while I was there. Word is getting around about the quality of Frank's work!

Now, I just need the dang insurance adjuster to look at the thing.....

Hey Dave, you didn't have any damage to the wheels did you? That would make me sad

Dave, glad to hear that you weren't hurt, but sad to hear about your car. It's good to hear it wasn't totalled and will be repaired soon.
