here in georgia there is no gas at all anywhere if a person finds a gas truck they will fallow it to the gas station and wait til they open the gas pump. i havent seen premium in a week

Oh? 2 days ago I filled up both my bike and the s2000 at that Citgo on 54, across the street from the BP in that area near Alston Ave/Alexander/55
This was at 4.09 for premium.

Had to put my 1st tank of REGULAR 87 2nite, after waiting an hour then going straight to walmart to get octane booster haha, no VTEC for this tank haha

I finally had to put regular in my tank yesterday, as I have to have gas for my DD this week. I immediately added a bottle of octane booster. Ron told me no VTECing on this tank, and to keep topping it off with premium and/or race gas if I can find it.

Anything else I should know? (I'm freaking out a bit that I may have done something harmful to my "new" engine. )

After 137k miles...I had to put 1/2 a tank of 87 in...and that was over by Dillsboro on my trip to DBR.

Since then, I've been able to find Premium at local stations...the Exxon on Independence across from Bonefish...and the Exxon by my house on Idlewild (485).

DougEFresh was able to fill his tank at the Exxon by 485 yesterday.

This whole "outta gas thing" is getting ridiculous.

Best of luck to everyone on their search. It's like finding treasure now, right...makes you forget about the $$$$.

I wasn't having problems finding prem. at spinx on pelham/haywood. but i went to work friday morning....at 7 i remind you and there was a line all the way around the building...not just a couple im talking wrapped around. i came back by after work and there was still a line. i got gas later that night..around 1 and certain pumps only had prem. then some only had reg. this sucks...

up until yesterday asheville was completely out of gas, not just premium, but all gas. i had to fill up with 87. no vtec. thats my stress reliever too. this sucks

So far I have made 2 trips to the Greenville area from ATL twice in two weeks. My S is also my DD. I haven't had a major problem finding Premium. I have had to pay some crazy prices for premium ($4.59), but I'd rather pay the price then be left without.

I have found the secret is go out at lunch time (not 12 noon), but a little more odd hours. I have yet to not be able to find gas. On my trip back yesterday, I found premium at the Hickory Point on Highway 8 (exit 32) and I think I paid $4.09.

Opposite problem here in Mebane. Only thing for sale yesterday at any of the gas stations in or near town was Premium. They were all out of mid-grade and regular.

The CRV got a fill-up of Premium - at $3.89/gal.
