CU Nick,

Bounty Land Exxon near Bloom seems to have it steadily. Filled up yesterday at 3.99 a gallon.

I think we are finally starting to see the effects here in Atlanta. Up in Sandy Springs and Dunwoody there isn't a station that has 93 much less any thing else. I went to fill up this past week at the BP and it was $4.59/gal. So, on my way to work I shot over to a Shell off of I-85 and picked up some 93 for about $4.39.

I hope this crap doesn't last long! I guess I will be VPN'ing into work and chillin' on the couch if I can't find food for the S.

I ran into the same situation on Saturday, here in Clemson. Couldn't find an ounce of 93, and when I finally did it was $4.29/gal. I'd rather pay the extra cost to run then Premium over the regular in my S though.
Thats odd. Everywhere I went wasn't that high. I ended up paying $3.70 at Murphey's in Central cause they were out of everything except 93 on Saturday.

I nearly opted for 100 octane 2 weeks ago when I was traveling to the Dragon...right around the time I was about to pull the trigger, the gas lady came by and removed the bags from the pumps.

Needless to say, I just went ahead with the 93.

ugh this sucks NOONE has gas anywhere around here, I heard that charlotte has none, and Fort Mill and Rockhill area are totally out, only one Texico had gas in Rock Hill on Cherry RD 2nite and the line reached to the highway...So I was like screw that, plus they only had regular. I only have a 1/4 tank left AHHHHHHHH! I wish my S wasnt my daily driver right now haha

It's seriously ridiculous now...

My wife will have to drive my Passat to work tomorrow and I'll have to drive the S2K. Her Accord Coupe gets to stay home tomorrow since it's near "E."

Stoopid.

I went to asheville for the weekend and Every gas station in a 30 mile radius was out of 93. I spent Hours and hours looking for premium. I ended up having to put in a small amount of 87 with octane booster until i finally found a small station with 92.

Luckily i discovered that Robbinsville NC still had 93 so i was still able to enjoy my trip to the dragon and surrounding areas.

Greensboro was out of 93 also.

So many gas stations were closed it wasnt even funny. It looks like the only places which had 93 were the stations which closed on sunday and were out in the sticks. :/ Scary
I had the same experience but even 87 was out!

A cop jokingly said "I'll sell you mine for 8$ a gallon" . I said OK but he thought I was joking. I ended up in TN before I finally found some gas. The auto shutoff didnt work on the pump so I'm checking the engine oil when I hear flowing water....doh

Cant find gas all day and then pour a gallon on the road.

I traveled out to houston, TX and they had alot of gas at $3.60 a gallon for premium....... and they just got hit by hurricane ike. everyone is going in panic mode about a week ago for gas and that has just drove the prices up.

ive been running regular for about a week now and I appologize to my car every time I turn her on (haha at my choice of words). Either way I have noticed no performance decrease, but at the same time it's not something I would recommend doing.

I have to drive to UNCC or work every day and there is no way I can function without a car. Sucks but I gotta do what I gotta do.
