Next get together for Charlotte, and surrounding area, group
It was great meeting all of you (except the stripper) last Thursday.
I agree that we all need to make this on ongoing activity.
How about the wine tasting at Nobles or an evening at Celebration Station which many of you brought up, meeting at Joe's Crab Shack before or after..
Perhaps mid to late August after the kids are back in school would be fun. What's the best day of the week for us as a group? or do we try a Saturday or Sunday?
Let me know how you feel as it would be great to get together next month.
Those that couldn't make last Thursday, think about joining us next time.
Thanks, John

I'm up for another meet, but since it's summer....can I suggest a cook-out
We could make it pot-luck and each chip a few bucks in for the burgers & dogs (unless we want to go high-life and throw some ribeyes on the grill)
Just a suggestion though....I'm up for pretty much anything. Sunday is my best day for making a meet.

A cookout sounds great. Question is where do we have it? Does someone have a big enough backyard and deck to host it? Hope so 'cause I would love to get together again.

What about reserving a shelter at one of the nearby parks (Jetton Pk on Lk Norman or there are a couple on Lk Wylie) and they have outdoor grills to cook on...?
The hardest part is finding a day to meet. Is August too soon??

I can always rent our neighborhood clubhouse and pool for a cookout. I thinks its about $50.00 to rent. I also live on the Divide golf course for those who would want to play a round of golf.
Personally, I would love to see the clubhouse parking lot full of S2ks instead of usual white SUVs and minivans.

Ron and I have a large deck, and would be happy to host a get-together, if you'd like it to be a bit more casual! Parking's a bit tight; most would have to park on the street, but it's not a cut-through neighborhood, so very little traffic. We could REALLY impress the neighbors!
We live off Sardis Road, (South Charlotte), about 4 miles from SouthPark, near McAlpine Greenway park. If it's too hot or rains, we could hang inside. We could watch Silverbullet's "porn" (and any other S2k video footage people might have!) Mid-to-late August sounds good. Just one more option!
