New To NC (Charlotte area)
Hey guys,
Just wanted to introduce myself as I just moved to the Charlotte area, Cornelius to be exact. My name is Chris and I just oved here from the Pittsburgh, PA area and looking forward to joining/finding some of the local events. My car is pretty much stock at the moment as it is my daily driver. Just an 01 BB with an AP2 front and coastal metals splitter, and lowered on espelir springs. I have made a few Dragon trips with friends over the last couple of years and love that. Really nice to be a lot closer now, haha. Oh and I used to live in Greenville, SC during my high school years, graduated 03 so I'm not 100% new to the area.
Anyway, looking forward to meeting some of you soon.

Welcome Chris!
As Kevin stated, there is a Cars and Coffee on the first Saturday of the month. Here is the website for the Charlotte chapter:
http://charlotte.carsandcoffee.info/
If you're feeling like travelling out some, there is another one in Greenville, SC the last Saturday of each month:

Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a great deal else going on in the Charlotte area besides street racing. Keep your eyes peeled for "ForgetMyNameX07" and his posts. Sometimes he organizes Carolinas meets. They're generally down near Columbia, SC though.

Even though I haven't had an S in a few years, I still check in every now and then so welcome. BTW, my wife's mom lives in Cornelius. Every time we go down, I get a sore neck from looking at all of the nice cars down there.
Hey Doug, I see you live close to Statesville now. Are you still detailing cars? If so, my friend with the RSX-S needs some work done. Mind if I text you?
