I am trying to decide between painting and powder coating... not sure which way to go

On the stock wheels?

If so...here are my recommendations...

If you want to place an "S" badge on the center cap...go powdercoated.

If you want the rim one solid color, get 'em painted.

They can't powdercoat the center caps because of the high temps...

the center cap of these are plastic ..

(rim on the right)





What about chipping.. ?

Ive talked to a powder coating place around here about doing mine black and leaving the lip and center silver...
The guy said they offer a one year warranty against chipping and fading if I let them strip/prep the wheels b4 powder coating and not just powder coat only...
Inside and out... Gloss finish 4 $220...

Great price...you don't want to know how much I paid to have mine painted...ugh!

Whitemistress you should talk to Matt (S2kManiac) he called on place around ehre and they quoted him on powdercoating at $90 per wheel OSLT./

Shoot, the guy told me that that price was 4 all four!!!
I've dealt with him b4 on other projects, so he's pretty straight up...

Thank ya thank ya.. took 2 years to get a set! But heres to originality!

So which way should I go... PC or paint? They have some scratches that need to be filled also. How much was it to get your painted? Did they strip the PC off before doing it?
