Default New Bridgestone S-03's

Looks like I'm going to need some new fronts and from calling around to few of the local tire shops they're going to cost me $450 mounted and balanced. It seems like only a year ago I paid $350 for a set of fronts. I was wondering if anybody on here had a source that would hook me up on these for a little bit less than fo-fiddy?

Thanks

tire rack is the best. you might also want to chech the tire and wheel forum to see alternative tires that are alot less. im running kumhos, others run yokos.

my local tire shop couldnt even get close to their prices.

hope that helped.

www.tirerack.com has them for $149/per. Usually shipping on 2 tires is around $20 or $25 IIRC. So, you'd be looking at right around $350 mounted/balanced if you ordered them yourself, I'd guess.

If you didn't mind different tires, you could replace all 4 for just a little more, and then maybe sell your rears if they still have decent tread on them. You'd end up at about the same price then, and you wouldn't have to pay for S-03's any more. The next best things to S-03's that are cheap would be the Hankook R-S2's or the Kuhmo MX's, IMO.

Front & Rear Hankook's are ~$400 shipped.

Just some ideas if you're burning through tires half as fast as I do!

I have used Tire Rack for my s03's twice. Quick shipment and great to deal with. Do shop because sometimes local shops can match prices. Do make sure you find a reliable place to mount, you don't want to end up with scratched rims.

Good luck!

Got the fronts replaced with Yokohamas. They're a little bit cheaper than the Bridgestones. Thanks for all the input.
