Need some help with AP2 headlights
Some back story:
So a few weeks ago I purchased an ap2 with ap1 headlights. Apparently, the ballasts were stolen and the dealership was forced to put ap1 headlights on the car.
We came to an agreement that they would drop the price of the car $400 and would send me the ap2 headlights when I purchased the ballasts. Then I would send the ap1 headlights back to them. Fair enough.
I took the $400 and ordered ballasts and igniters on ebay for, you guessed it, $400.
I JUST received the ap2 headlights and I'm not exactly sure what to do next.
Here's a pic of one of the headlights
This is where the igniter wire comes out and you can clearly see where it's been cut.
Here's the new ballast and igniter.
And a closeup of the wires and plug into the ballast.
What I'm concerned about is how to install the igniter.
OR
Should I cut and splice the wire coming out of the headlight into the new igniter wire with the plug?
I'd rather not if I can help it.
Also, if there are any Columbia guys that can help me install these that would be great. I know it's not too difficult, but I'd really like to work with someone that has experience help out some.

Thanks Jason! Even though it was hot as hell it was worth it. The headlights look great and I didn't manage to f*$# anything up... too bad.
I can't wait to get out and meet everyone else and get involved with the community.
