Default Need input on possible move to NC please!

My company is wanting me to move up there, the facility is in the Laurinburg area but I will likely move somewhere like Fayetteville/Raeford area just to be in a larger city so my wife can get a job she likes as well. The smallest city I've lived in is where I am now in Birmingham so our family is used to having anything they want withing 10 minutes of our neighborhood

Any advice on places to look withing 30-40 minutes drive from Laurinburg? How is Fayettevile as far as cost of living, schools, stuff to do?

Anyone have input on the Raeford area, its between Fayetteville and Laurinburg so location would be good but close enough to Fayetteville for anything we want.
Good schools, affordable newer housing, and retail access are key to the happiness of the wife and kids.
Thanks!

I would move in the outskirts of Fayetteville. It's a "busy" city due to Ft. Bragg.

Its a very busy city because of Fort Bragg. I live on the outskirts of fayetteville in around Raeford. Nice peaceful area.
