Default NC State Parks report a 13% increase on visitors

Just heard this on the news and was wondering...did _YOU_ visit any NC State Parks in 2009?

I wanted to visit the Hatteras lighthouse (again) but never got the chance in 2009.

Seems the recession had folks visiting locally and taking in some of the beauty of NC.

I mountian bike in one of the state parks so I have a yearly pass. Can't really count the number of times I went this past year. I would guess 40 to 50 times.
