I tried a BBQ place in Augusta, GA while traveling and it was simply awesome...

Gotta agree with Mulder ATO on Rogers...plus with JAHumphrey on Wilbers!! I have not tried any places in Charlotte.

Being from NC I like to think I know a little something about BBQ. I have been a BBQ lover all my life. I have to say that Momma Brown's Barbeque right here in Mount Pleasant is about the best I have ever come across. We had a little S2000 round up there not that long ago so there are others on here that can speak to its awesomeness.

Another one of my favorite BBQ places is The Woodlands Barbecue Restaurant in Blowing Rock, NC...

My favorite is BRIDGE's BBQ in Shelby NC. They have been in business since 1953! Not only is the BBQ awesome so is the hushpuppies and sweet tea .

Parker's in Wilson is my favorite. Husey's in Burlingon and Bullock's in Durham are not too bad, either! Dillard's in Durham for ribs, and Ole NC BBQ in North Durham for chicken.
