Hey man, bummer to hear. I hope he's ok. If you can't make it I'll let Jake co-drive me car. Not as well setup as yours, of course, but 'Miata driver's can't be choosy!'
Really looking forward to this one. I hope everyone have a great holiday, enjoys the time with family, stays away from work, and shows up ready to race! It'll be a blast. Also, you might want to bring some warm clothes and driving gloves!! See you Saturday!

Thanks for the well wishes everybody! I just talked to my folks. Dad is doing better, so they did not have to do surgery this morning. It's still uncertain as to if he might need it in the next day or two, but it's looking good right now. He will still be in the hospital through the weekend, most likely. I'm headed to Charlotte tonight and I'm going to bring all my gear. If Dad is doing well on Friday night and avoids surgery, I'll be at the autoX.

Dad was released from the hospital this morning. They still want to keep an eye on him, so he will have some followup visits, but he got home about 11:30 this morning and is doing well. See y'all Saturday morning!

Sorry I Didn't make it. I left home and my brakes were not very responsive. should've checked after the track day. Oh well.
